Barnes & Noble’s Nook eReaders,
such as the Simple Touch, recently
had their prices slashed, bringing the
Kindle-style devices into pocket
money territory. Turns out they’re
actually more interesting than the
Kindle, since they are based on
Android, and if you root it you can unlock the full Android experience.
What you’re left with is a fully
functioning tablet, albeit one with
slow processor
