Almost since the beginning, Android
devices have blazed a trail throughout the industry in making screens ever
larger. While the iPhone stuck doggedly
to its belief that one size fi ts all, the
likes of HTC, Sony and Samsung have
realised that larger displays – with their
increased footprint offset by their
rapidly declining thickness – were the
best way to make use of the media rich
